Job Purpose:
Under the responsibility of the Director of the Project Management Center, the Operations Clerk will be responsible to perform data entry for the entire project management center.

-          Handle cable reels;
-          Read and interpret blueprints and perform the work required;
-          Plan the work to ensure to have the tools and materials required for the work;
-          Pull the cables to specified length;
-          Perform work in confined spaces;
-          Perform threading if necessary;
-          Submit daily reports using the company-provided devices;
-          Communicate with other workers to co-ordinate the preparation and completion of the work to do;
-          Report the work/pitfalls to the foreman and/or the team leader;
-          Regularly check the condition of the safety equipment;
-          Follow Health and Safety Procedures/Standards;
-          Apply the procedures established by the clients;
-          Notify people responsible if maintenance/repair of equipment is necessary;
-          Ensure road safety equipment is in place near the site, if necessary;
-          Operate heavy vehicles/equipment;
-          Perform other duties related to the job.

Employer description

·         Grade 12 equivalency;


Essential Qualifications:

·         Five (5) Years of relevant experience in the field of Telecommunications;
·         English proficiency;
·         Valid Full G driver's licence;
·         Knowledge in plan reading;
·         Good physical endurance.

Additional information :

Asset Qualifications:
·         College Degree;
·         Experience in the Construction Industry;
·         AZ or DZ driver’s licence.
